The Acoustic Underdogs hail from the deepest darkest regions of Shropshire and the West Midlands, and between them have over 40 years of professional music and gigging experience.
Formed in 2004 by a chance encounter in a local music venue, Adam Dean and Neil have been entertaining wedding parties, corporate bashes, private functions, pubs and restaurants all across the UK, Europe and the US, to widespread rave reviews (check them out below)
The band members are all seasoned entertainers from established musical and professional backgrounds who are always sharply dressed rest and are ready to uplift your function and create an incredible show with the “WOW” factor.

Adam - Vocals & Guitar
Dubbed “The Voice” for his singing ability, Adam has always had a natural affinity for music, but only picked up a guitar for the first time at the late age of 17. At a time when Youtube and Google hadn’t been invented yet, Adam spent hours teaching himself how to play guitar from the confines of home.
Adam honed his musical craft at University where he formed a band with his mates, and who are still going to this day.
In 2004, Adam acquired his beloved Gibson J150 acoustic guitar. Since then, Adam has been a prolific songwriter, performer and musician. He has performed all over the UK and in the United States, and has even had his music used in a Hollywood film!
Neil - Drummer
Virtuoso, musical savant, child prodigy and compulsive liar, Neil took up drums because it was the second loudest, most obnoxious instrument possible (he's not Scottish enough for Bagpipes). He began at school, played with his mates in bands, and did exams.
He's still playing in bands offering different musical styles, and even finds himself on tour across Europe occasionally.
Proud owner of far too many drums and associated percussion, he'll happily talk to you for hours about Hi Hat tensioning springs, so our advice is to not ask him at all…
Dean - Backing Vocals & Bass
Dean’s enthusiasm for music is contagious.
Coming from a musical family Dean has listened, learned, and performed music for as long as he can remember. Playing in bands since his early teens Dean has a wealth of experience as a live performer.
His influencers include The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Squeeze and Oasis, to name a few.
Dean has a very successful professional career working in music education, specialising in rock and pop. He works in local schools and colleges. He also runs his own music teaching studio.
